WHO IS LYNDA RODRIGUEZ?

Lynda Rodríguez is an entrepreneur from the Dominican Republic and the founder of Taller de Lynda Rodríguez, a company that has hosted etiquette and protocol workshops in six countries and 12 cities, including those in the United States, Spain, and Latin America. To date, more than 5,000 students have attended her workshops.

Lynda studied Etiquette and Protocol, professionally, including the expertise of Social and Business Etiquette, Diplomatic Protocol, and International Relations in London, Spain, and Japan. She also holds a master's degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a master´s degree in Audiovisual Communication in Spain and a bachelor's in Mass Communications the Dominican Republic. During her time at Harvard, she created the International Etiquette and Protocol Club, a student organization that offered Harvard students a platform to share their customs, culture, etiquette, protocol, do's and don'ts in their own countries while at the same time learn about others.

Since 2008, Lynda has been a columnist and the etiquette expert for Listín Diario, the most authoritative national newspaper of the Dominican Republic. As a columnist, Lynda has spoken on female empowerment and fostering understanding and respect between different genders and cultures. She won National Youth Award given by the Government of the Dominican Republic, and has received several international accolades for her professional work and charity contributions.

Through her community program, Building Leaders for the Future, she offers free workshops to empower children in orphanages and is championing sports as a positive tool for physical and mental health, team building, and reducing the incidence of crime and drug abuse among vulnerable youth.

Moreover, Lynda is the creator of "Lynda Rodriguez Collection", a business etiquette and protocol guide, planner, and notepad to empower Latin American women to be professional, more productive, and successful in their careers.

Her approach to etiquette is to promote it as a tool that brings confidence, understanding, break cultural barriers, and foster cultural intelligence to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations.
